Examination Rules


Nirmala Convent School – Examination Rules

To ensure a fair and disciplined examination process, all students are expected to strictly adhere to the following rules:


1. General Conduct


        • Students must be punctual and reach the examination hall at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
        • Silence must be maintained in the examination hall at all times.
        • Students must bring their own pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, and other stationery. Borrowing items is not allowed during the exam.


    • 2. Identity and Attendance

        • Students must carry their school ID card or admit card during all exams.
        • No student will be allowed to enter the exam hall 30 minutes after the exam has started.
        • Attendance is compulsory on all examination days. In case of illness, a medical certificate must be submitted.


    • 3. Use of Unfair Means

        • Cheating or any form of unfair means is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action, which may include disqualification from the exam.
        • Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators (unless permitted) are not allowed in the exam hall.


    • 4. Answer Sheet Guidelines

        • Write your name, roll number, and other details clearly on the answer sheet as instructed.
        • Follow the instructions given by the invigilators carefully.
        • No additional sheets will be provided unless properly justified and approved by the invigilator.


    • 5. Submission and Exit

        • Students must submit their answer sheets before leaving the exam hall.
        • No student will be allowed to leave the hall within the first 30 minutes of the exam.
        • Students must leave the exam hall quietly without disturbing others.


    • 6. Disciplinary Measures

          • Any student found violating the above rules may face:
              • Cancellation of the paper or entire exam.
                  • Suspension or other disciplinary action depending on the severity.
