INSTRUCTIONS FOR TEACHERS

1. General Conduct

• Teachers must be punctual and regular in attendance.

• Dress code must be modest and professional.

• Mobile phones should not be used during class hours unless permitted for educational purposes.

• Maintain a positive attitude and set a good example for students.

2. Academic Responsibilities

• Prepare daily lesson plans and follow the prescribed syllabus.

• Maintain student records, including attendance, assignments, and examination marks.

• Conduct classes as per the timetable without delays.

• Encourage active participation, critical thinking, and discipline in the classroom.

3. Classroom Management

• Ensure a clean and organized classroom environment.

• Maintain discipline and address student misconduct with patience and fairness.

• Promote respectful interaction between students and teachers.

4. Evaluation and Assessment

• Set question papers and evaluate answer scripts with integrity and impartiality.

• Submit marks and results within the stipulated time.

• Provide feedback to students and help them improve academically.

5. Communication & Collaboration

• Attend all staff meetings, training sessions, and school functions.

• Maintain regular communication with parents during PTMs or when needed.

• Coordinate with fellow teachers and the school management for academic progress.

6. Ethical Guidelines

• Avoid favoritism, discrimination, or any form of misconduct.

• Respect the confidentiality of student information.

• Uphold the values and mission of the school at all times.

7. Duties Beyond Classroom

• Take part in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

• Perform duties assigned during school events, examinations, and celebrations.

• Monitor students during assemblies, lunch breaks, and dispersal as scheduled.
